Citizens of Wyoming may initiate legislation as indirectly initiated state statutes. In Wyoming, citizens also have the power to repeal legislation via veto referendum.
The Wyoming State Legislature may place measures on the ballot as legislatively referred constitutional amendments and legislatively referred constitutional convention questions. A two-thirds (66.67%) vote is required in each chamber during one legislative session to refer both amendments and constitutional convention questions to the ballot.
