Hello my fellow Californians! I am Jessica Resendez I grew up in Sunnyvale/San Jose and graduated from Fremont High School of Sunnyvale in 2002 where I spent my time as a member of the marching and concert bands, I have a passion for music and would hate to see the arts dissappear. I believe in education but unfortunately the content we teach our children are being attacked and censored, we must fight to preserve all our history good and bad because misinformation is deadly and must not allow our children to be blocked from learning from our past. I am a Transgender Latina Woman and a Sexual Assault Survivor. I am not saying this to sway you either way but as a way to start this journey together with you knowing I have nothing to hide and will be upfront with you from the start. I ask that you please allow me to represent you and let's work together to Build A Better Tomorrow!

  • I don't want to be looked at as a Politician instead I consider myself an advocate and liason between you and our Government.
  • I promise to bring integrity, honesty, and transparency I know you've heard it before but what you see is what you get.
  • Our teachers need help educating our children and access to resources to help them do more with less out of pocket.

I truly believe it is possible to eliminate the influence big business has on our political system and we can have our State and Federal Governments work for the people's interests again. It all starts with the people don't ever let your elected officials get away with going against your needs and expectations please stay vigilant and reach out to your representatives and tell them what your concerns are.

I look up to Senator Bernie Sanders and would hope to be an effective advocate for civil rights because we need more leaders to step up and fight for the needs of the people.

Honesty, integrity, and transparency, and being a genuine leader who listens to my supporters and willing to never stop learning.

Honesty, integrity, transparent, and genuinely caring and will fight for those I care about.

Educating themselves on the issues to know the facts and not what you may want to hear.

Knowing I've done all I can to help teachers, homeless, and renters access the needed resources without all the hoops to jump through.

1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake, I was age six and remember my Father picking me up when shaking started and took me to the street as our pool water went down our neighbor's driveway.

My first job was at Paramount's Great America at 15 working in the Rides department. I worked there six seasons and five of those were as a member of management team.

Black Widow- she has always felt she had to face things alone even though she is more than capable to do so, having the support of Friends and family makes the burden easier to carry.

Getting over the effects of my Sexual Assault and learning to use it to help me help others.

Unity and educating the masses to counteract the misinformation that floods the tv and radio.

Though I see the argument in support of limiting career politicians, but I also feel that it can tie the hands of young Senators making progress for their constituents.

Bernie Sanders, I hope to be as or more effective than he is fighting for civil rights.

I believe that it may beneficial to have experience, but not necessary. Life experience will be more beneficial to understanding and relating to those you are elected to lead.

I believe that it has become a tool to hinder the Democratic Process.

Views on civil rights issues,

And prior experience related to the position

And their character, like hobbies, how they interact with others daily.

Ethics

Agriculture, nutrition, and forestry

Energy and natural resources

Environment and public works

Budget

Banking, housing, and urban affairs

Appropriations

Bernie Sanders I hope to be as effective or more than he is in the fight for civil rights and equality.

I would look to build on the common interests we have and see how we could accomplish those goals together.

Yes compromise is necessary but we cannot compromise on the needs of the people because they are the reason we do what we do.
