About the Executive Branch Project

Article II of the United States Constitution establishes the executive branch of government. The president of the United States is responsible for implementing and enforcing federal law and also serves as commander in chief of the U.S. Armed Forces. Ballotpedia's Executive Branch Project tracks, analyzes, and explains the responsibilities and policy positions of the president, vice president, and members of the executive Cabinet.
